Rachel Louis (she/her) is originally from Round Hill, VA. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Shenandoah Conservatory and both a Master of Letters and Master of Fine Arts in Shakespeare and Performance from Mary Baldwin University.

During her time in the S&P program Rachel spent two summers as an Acting Fellow at the American Shakespeare Center during the 2020 and 2021 seasons. Rachel was also an acting concentration in the now graduated S&P MFA company Treehouse Shakespeare Ensemble, where her onstage roles for the season included the Duchess in The Duchess of Malfi and the third witch in Macbeth. When offstage she was either working on costumes, working on her thesis, or advising and editing four of her classmates' thesis papers as part of the editorial committee.

On the weekends you can find her at the crystal shop doing tarot readings, and in her down time she cuddles her cats, waters her ever growing plant collection, and drinks red wine with friends.
